After 12 years, my PC died. I have been trying to use an old iPad but that will take some time. My husband passed away six months ago and had a fairly new lap top so I decided to try it.Well got it all set up and I had some difficulty until I hooked up my wireless mouse and I am now in heaven! I am not giving up on the iPad however because I love it's simplicity! I am 70 yrs. old. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!!!!

RiverCityGirl...good for you. Isn't that wireless mouse fantastic? I just got one, too, & I love it. My sympathies on the loss of your husband.

River City Girl--so sorry about the loss of your husband. We know it will happen someday but we are never ready when it does. My feeling is we are never too old to learn!!!

Sorry for your loss RCG!
Learning something is always good.
I had a wireless mouse & went back to a wired one...I kept forgetting to turn the darn thing off & it was eating batteries! So don't forget to do that!

Thank you all for your condolences. I am going ok now but was a basket case the first 3 months. We were married 37 years. I am lucky to have three great supportive children and two great wonderful old (35 yrs) friends. Ouestion Why did it take 5 hours for this to be posted? Confused

I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your dear Husband. You have my condolences.
You are truly amazing!!! Star Star Star Star Star Star Star
If my PC died and I needed to use the laptop, my frantic calls would be to my DD to please come and help me!!! I use a wireless mouse, but I don't know how to hook it up myself. Are you kidding me? I don't think I would be able to figure it out myself, even if you offered me a lot of $. Roll Eyes To me it IS Rocket Science! Roll Eyes You go, girl!!!! Cool
Silly Bird, I just noticed you said the same thing I did! I am always amazed that other people often say the exact same thing that I do. I don't copy other people's comments ever. I didn't even read them all! Smart minds think alike........ Big Grin

Very sorry for your loss. Glad to hear that you have family and friends for support. You are amazing at the tech stuff. Don't know if I would have had the energy to learn how to get everything hooked up.
