Big Grin What a beautiful rose..That's a David Austin Rose that J&P just started carrying..yum yum...Toots the Alfalfa Tea will most definitely benefit your rose but some young roses unfortunately get those pencil-size canes that aren't strong enough to hold up the blooms..I am having the same problem with Both my "Mme. Joseph Schwartz" & "Duchesse de Brabant"..I am awaiting for mine to finish their blooms!!..They are loaded and I don't have the heart to prune them now..but I will hard prune mine right above an outward eye..the main canes will then be able to focus on growing bigger and stronger...Hope this helps..and that is a gorgeous shade of pink my dear....Jeanne

Yup..I'd prune those that have thin canes and give both rose fertilizer and alfalfa tea...OH MY that pic is the pretties I've seen of him..love that yellowy-sunburst color on the inside...Jeanne
