This is a crazy question, but here goes: do deer eat daylillies, is there anything to keep them away?

Well, I know you can fry up squash and daylily flowers to eat...so maybe the deer like them , too. Know some people put irish spring soap (whole bars) around...hanging from bushes.

When my dad lived in Tennessee he planted Stella D'Oro day-lilies and the deer left them alone. He said they were deer resistant day-lilies.

They were eaten in my friend's yard who lives
near the parks. If hungry enough I think they eat just about everything! LOL
