Is this invasive in zones7-8? I know it reseeds itself. I've have it reseed here in Colo zone 6. DS lives near FT. Smith Ark and would like to get it started in his yard for his bees. Thanks

Silly girl! It won't reseed unless you let the seeds fall. And it won't come back after a frost, it's an annual. Does your son have a fence he can let it go on? You know that fence by my garden house...I planted one in the middle of the long side...it has spread about 10' on each side and is blooming on both sides of the fence. The hummers like it too! The ones in my other beds kind of look pathetic...didn't grow all that well this year.

Yes I know you have to let the seeds ripen first. but won't they grow in the spring if left alone on the ground? Yes he does have a fence. he planted the other seeds along the fence to help keep the dirt off from the road. I'm going to take them to him and let him try. What's he got to loose right??
