The key to a nice-looking lawn is a good mower. I recommend one who is muscular and shirtless.

Hey Bikerchick, good to see you again!

Looks like spring has sprung and it looks wonderful. What is the purple plant that the hummingbird moth is on? Looks like some type of campanula.

That oriole is precious. How funny that he didn't think the tub was big enough for two!

hiya toots! the Europeana was a bday gift from my bro a couple years ago... he gave me 5 roses and they're all doing great! No buds on the daylilies yet but an increase in foliage and looking very healthy... fingers crossed that I'll see some flowers this year!

dacia... HA! You got that right! Big Grin Yep, I have flowers all year but the weeds never stop either... and the stinking Bermuda, well, heck, NOTHING can kill that stuff off!

Skyler... how ya doing lady??? Good to see you too... the purple plant is a Margarita BOP Penstemon... a CA Native Penstemon. I LOVE the colors of them. The flowers go from a soft lavender to electric blue tips... they're a reall standout in the gardens and need ZIP to do well here! No water, no fertilizer... just stick 'em in the ground and leave 'em alone Smile yeah, the Oriole just tickled me! He was at the hummingbird feeder too... so I hope he comes back and brings friends! Big Grin

latebloomer thanks! We were posting at the same time Big Grin yeah, the Brugs do SO well here... they become regular trees and can reach up to 15 ft! The plates I bought at a dollar store and just used plate hangers from home depot to put them up... I need to move 'em soon... there are actually 5 there, but ya can't see 'em anymore!

    owie... thanks! Smile
