Thanks for posting those lovely colorful fall pics! We mostly only have green and yellow for fall colors here and I miss the other brilliant ones in other places we've lived. The wild roses here do have some reddish color but I didn't get a pic of them and they are not looking good now.

Absolutely love the oranges, reds and yellows here in OH. Can't beat the fall colors! It is downright magical to see all the leaves changing. Of course, picking them up is less fun but that's all part of having such nice trees.

So pretty Muddy.....unless a miracle happens, there won't much fall color here either. A good many of the trees are already losing their leaves. I did see some brilliant red sumac on the way to town yesterday.

Wow! Beautiful! We have to drive to the mountains (about 1 1/2 hours) to see color like that!

WOW, very pretty! Our trees are starting to turn colors. I did see a gorgeous orange little tree on the corner downtown today. I would have loved to live right where that tree was and watch it all year long!
The fall just makes my heart sing, although I now find it more depressing than in yrs. past. All my dear, close relatives passed away in Nov. to Jan. My dear aunt whose birthday was 10/8, and I always loved the fall and always discussed it. It's funny how you associate special days with seasons. My mother's birthday was April 22nd and I always noticed new spring buds that time of year. After I lost her, I didn't pay attention to spring any longer, I just ignored it. I'm just too dang sentimental.... :-(
