DH won this fig tree in an auction and I have no idea what to do with it. Do I need to prune the new growth that has sprouted? I absolutely no squat about when and where to plant it,ect.
Thanks

I LOVE FIG TREES, THEY ARE SOOOOO EASY TO GROW. DON'T PRUNE OFF THE NEW GROWTH!
dig a hole deep enough to put the root ball in making sure the soil comes up to the level that it was in the pot. Plant it in full sun, with good drainage. Hopefully, it will bear fruit this October or some time after the first frost.
It should have fruit on it before the first frost, but they usually don't get ripe until after. GOOD LUCK!
