Trying to decide between the two geraniums.
Prefer Rozanne but cannot find it around here.
They say it doesn't flop as much at Johnson's blue.

Want to plant something along a 19 ft strip in front of Hydrangeas?

I have the rozanne and it has a very long bloom season, right into early frost. I don't have the other one so can't compare it.
LOTS of blooms!

thanks jvelo.
I was at Home Depot and they just got in their sale perennials. OMG, I saw Max Frei and loved it! But it's a viid pink. I really wanted to put a blue flowering cranesbill in front of my pink hydrangeas.
But Max is so vivid. I spose I could put alum sulfate on my hydrangeas and turn them to blue flowers. ???

Here's Max Frei

When I had my house on Long Island, I grew both varieties of these Geraniums. They spread like crazy but were not invasive(I'm in zone 6/7)and loved them both. I would try to get both varieties if you can.

Thanks Karen,
One of our nurseries has a coupon for 50% off 10 perennials. They are holding 14 of Johnson Blue for me.

Not sure how many I will need for a 19 ft run where the hydrangeas are. This is along the side of our deck. Hydrangeas are just coming up now. I have about 18" in front of them to put something as an "edger."
How many cranesbill do you think I'll need?
Took this pic thru a window screen, cuz it's raining right now. (hope to put clematis behind the hydrangeas)
