I have family in southwestern Mo and they're all ok. We're fine here in Illinois but the wind is unbelievable. Picked up my wrought iron patio table and blew it onto the grass. No one even wants to go out for Mother's Day lunch...just too miserable out there! Guess it's gonna be takeout which is fine by me!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you!

Happy Mother's Day Toots and all the other mothers here. We're okay up here in the NW corner of GA. Got a good bit of lightning, rain (hurray for that!) and wind during the overnight. We're very windy today. But looks like most of the bad GA stuff was mainly from Atlanta southward. Hope y'all haven't had too rough a day over your way today. This system really packed a punch about halfway across the country!

Don't leave out AR. We've had nearly two dozen tornadoes in the state since the first of April. Please no more.

I've missed them all so far thank goodness. My folks are at an ALF and had to get in the bathroom last night. Better safe than sorry.

Sorry I forgot AR Sis2. Y'all have been hit hard this year, including by this most recent system. Glad you and your folks came through the storms okay. It also looks like IN, WV, VA, NC, SC and parts of S GA got some more stuff today. Hope all the members from here and all your loved ones are all safe after this whole bad system.

Looks like there might be another round of severe weather this coming week in some of these areas again, including AR. So y'all monitor the development of this next system too. Hopefully it won't be nearly as strong as this past one. But it's just being a rough storm year this year.

I live an hour west of OKC so we missed out on the storms. We did have some pretty hefty winds, but not enough to damage anything. I sure feel for those poor people east of here, though. Just terrible.

SW Missouri was hit very hard but I'm up near St. Louis so it didn't hit us. We had bad wind and rain but we're OK....except it's so COLD.
I've heard from friends and they are OK too ... I wish everyone was.

I'm in central Ar and the storms left me with few rose petals, lots of debris all over the yard, but my home is intact. We sure need a breather from all the storms.. NO MORE please !!! Glad everyone is safe.
