    I'll go first.

I'm going to have to say that my "goal" is to just enjoy being in the garden more. I really want to be able to enjoy watching my kids play instead of having my eyes "wander" and wonder what I can plant next.

My goal is to finish the hardscaping pronto. I am tired of having bricks stacked all over the yard! THEN I can get back to doing the "pretty" stuff Smile

The key to a nice-looking lawn is a good mower. I recommend one who is muscular and shirtless.

I'm just hoping that the New garden I planted in October florishes...I worked really hard preparing the soil and doing it right this time.I'ld also like to start working on the upper tiers.

I have wish lists. I plant now for the butterflies and birds. There are a few plants that I would like to try. I just went online and ordered flower and seed catalogs to make my wish list! My new years resolution then would be get those plants I've been putting off buying!

Well I'm starting from scratch so I've got lots to do, but I want a yard and garden that's not going to be overwhelming..I want to enjoy it without it killing me...If you don't live here in the south you can't imagine our heat and humity, it's just awful.... but after a year in Nova Scotia I'm not crazy about the cold either!~~Cindy

My goal is to stay far away from the poison ivy patch this year. I found some poison oak last year by accident too. Big Grin

    (1) Finish clearing the leaf duff off the irises before spring. (2) Spread more wood chips on my trails in the back.

Someone, please take my credit cards away from me.....

Me, too, on the 90 degree weather and getting the mulch down.

Leave the checkbook at home when visiting garden centers. Don't buy plants to feed the deer and voles. Enjoy everything even though it has been half eaten to the ground.

I'll be the third to say getting the mulch done before the hot weather!! I will be on our local garden tour again this year and the tour forces me to get the mulch done early. It makes the summer much more enjoyable if that task is done by mid-June.

I agree with everyone about getting the hard work done before it gets too hot. Take better care of my roses and be more diligent about weeding.
