I'm going to have to say that my "goal" is to just enjoy being in the garden more. I really want to be able to enjoy watching my kids play instead of having my eyes "wander" and wonder what I can plant next.

I'm just hoping that the New garden I planted in October florishes...I worked really hard preparing the soil and doing it right this time.I'ld also like to start working on the upper tiers.

I have wish lists. I plant now for the butterflies and birds. There are a few plants that I would like to try. I just went online and ordered flower and seed catalogs to make my wish list! My new years resolution then would be get those plants I've been putting off buying!

You saw me back there, didn't you? LOL... Well I'm starting from scratch so I've got lots to do, but I want a yard and garden that's not going to be overwhelming..I want to enjoy it without it killing me...If you don't live here in the south you can't imagine our heat and humity, it's just awful.... but after a year in Nova Scotia I'm not crazy about the cold either!~~Cindy
Now the crowd has showed up... I knew that was Bookie with the orange cape! LOL Who else needs to come forward here....Genie I want to hear a REAL RESOLUTION!!! Something like I will grow orchids for all my garden buddies! LOL

Me, too, on the 90 degree weather and getting the mulch down.
Leave the checkbook at home when visiting garden centers. Don't buy plants to feed the deer and voles. Enjoy everything even though it has been half eaten to the ground.
I'll be the third to say getting the mulch done before the hot weather!! I will be on our local garden tour again this year and the tour forces me to get the mulch done early. It makes the summer much more enjoyable if that task is done by mid-June.
