Here is a coral bee balm(monarda) about 4ish feet high, and draws lots of butterflies. Also, had a hummingbird fight for about one hour (!) yesterday. Two males were diving and swooping for ever. They used so much energy up fighting over food, they could have raised 50 babies. Why can't they just each land on a hole, and enjoy????

Silly Bird, cut off your bee balm when it gets mildewy, and throw it away! Don't compost it, or throw it on the ground....it will just splash up and re infect stuff.

then I suggest a teaspoon of baking soda in a pint of water in a spray bottle, spray it on weekly BEFORE mildew sets up....to late for this year, maybe, but next year. Google it, and see if there are any other suggestions.
