Forgot in previous post that you cannot add two pictures in one post without going through photobucket..........OOPS! I used this old outdoor candle chandlier as a part of my "trash to treasure" garden club progam. Thought ya'll might like to see it. We are not outdoor candle people...so it just hung on the porch collecting dust. One of the glass jars got broken, so I substituted a vienna sausage can and recycled the chandelier into a succulent/sedum planter. It now hangs on a sturdy shepherds crook in the garden. ve

That's pretty cute! My mind is a garden. My thoughts are the seeds. My harvest will be either flower or weeds. --Mel Weldon

Great idea, ve! Now I know what to do with my candle chandelier if I ever get tired of it. (I do regularly use mine with liquid citronella or regular candles.)

That is a nice idea! What other clever ideas do you folks have at your club? You must have some interesting meetings!

gaKaren - I see you have learned about vi-anna since living in the south. CaRose - I'm glad that someone gets some use out of their chandelier...it is a good recycling project. Jvelo - we have some pretty interesting programs from time to time. I've learned a lot from some very creative ladies. We've had demo's on shoe planters, garden totems, toad houses, etc. Thanks y'all. ve
