We were blessed with almost an inch of rain overnight. Everything looked so refreshed this morning that I took a few pictures to share.

In a previous post back in the spring someone asked me about the iris bed. Well, this is it now with lilies, daisies, coneflowers and some going to seed rose campion. Should be some zinnia's in there ;o(

This is Vera Bigalow....you can figure out why I bought her.....hard to find anything with my name

Look at Susan this morning

don't you just love sunflowers

bees love the coneflowers

Thanks for looking.

Thanks girls.....rampart cottage is definitely my style. I like a full mix of plants and colors with barely any space in between. Besides, formal just wouldn't work out here....ask JanC, she spent last weekend here. She can tell you about wild and wooly for sure.

Hi Karen/NY - thank you....so how's the condo garden coming along? Are your wildflowers doing well?

Bana, you are so kind!

Oh, we're all so envious of that lovely garden, Vera. Southern graciousness at its best, for sure.

Vera Bigalow--how cute, it's really a good looking daylily. Your plants are lovely. So many in bloom and looking so good. I'm sure that the rain helped but it's the work that you do that makes the garden so great!

Hi Vera. It's been raining every day around here so I haven't had a chance to see how many flowers are coming up. I'll try to get there by the end of the week(if it doesn't rain again). Thanks for asking.
