Just to clarify. Did you plant the plants or the seeds. I have in the past planted plants and had the same probablem. Heck I have trees that have not gown since I planted them a year ago. I think sometimes the temps play a part in it. I planted tomatoes in my garden back in the middle of April and they took off within a couple of days. Daytime temps were in the 70's and night time was mid 50's. I planted a tomatoe here at work in a pot with potting soil and It has gone backwards now for 3 weeks. It has been hot and night time temps after I planted it went into the high 40's. The Garden plants got water with Miracle grow and a root stimulator that smells like Vit B. The potted plant got the mixture last week hoping it would do some good.
Probably weather ups/downs. When it keeps changing the plants aren't sure what to do yet. There could also be some transplant shock going on that took some of the time. Did you plant lettuce plants? It starts easy from seeds...no need to spend the **.

I agree with Karen. I planted Romane lettuce from seed in March. It works good here. Just harvested some yesterday. Head lettuce won't work here. It gets too hot too soon for it.
Ya learn something new every day! I planted plants and now our weather is finaaly adjusting to spring to summer temps. I thought I would be harvesting broccoli and lettuce by now.:-( I will want to be getting my green beens and whatever else I decide soon, so I guess I'll just pull these up and try seed in the fall.
