| Mgt, I went to that website and looked at the pics. My endless summer bloomed but the blossoms are half the size of those on the website. On the other hand, I bought a $15 potted hydrangea about 5 years ago in the spring, plunked it in the ground and it has enormous blossoms. I think that ES are overrated. |

| If you trimmed your hydrangea down in the fall or spring, you won't have blooms in the summer. |

| No I don't think so - it was a pretty mild winter and spring this year in the north east. quote: Originally posted by ga.karen: Did you have a late frost or freeze. That can sometimes destroy the bloom buds too.

| I didn't trim them at all. quote: Originally posted by Jewel: If you trimmed your hydrangea down in the fall or spring, you won't have blooms in the summer.

| We had an extremely warm April--some days in the 80's and then some very cold days in May. The upper branches of my ES had buds and those didn't bloom but the lower ones are fine--but I still stand by my comments that the ES blooms are much smaller than those on my cheap hydrangea. |
