I have potobucket and i would like to know how i can put my picture on when i post.Well i know how to do that but sometimes i see where someone post and there photobucket shows up on their post and all you have to do is click on it and it takes you to photobucket and you can see all their pictures.Do you copy the url or something like that? Pleas explain like you wre teaching a 1st grader. Thanks
I've tried every way I know to post a pic here from PhotoBucket. All I get is a link. The only way I know to get a pic to show up in your post, is to save it to your computer first! Then just click on "Add Attachment?" and find your saved pic. Of course, there is a size limit, but HGTV is much more generous than a lot of other boards.
ETA: I just re-read your original question. If you just want to post a link to a photo bucket pic, just copy any one of the 4 codes listed below the thumbnail and paste into your thread. You're not talking about an avatar (pic on left, under name) are you?

Want to move into the world of nice online image hosting for $24.95 per year
Image Event.
Every album has its own URL and every image does too. Even every size of every image has a URL.
But specific to position. If you put the URL to an image in spot #2 in an album, and move it to number three, it's URL switches.
Usually, I just post an album URL. If I post a single image, I often footnote it to leave it in its same numerical order.
They have a free trial if you would like to use it. No advertsing - well worth the investment.
Albums is one area where I don't want freebies.
I just upgraded from 3000 megs of storage, to UNLIMITED storage for $64 per year. I can load files as large as 100 megs, like videos files.
My signature uses my album system in a different way. They give me a code that stuffs the album from there, into my own pages. It looks like its on my server, but its not.
I've gotta say though - I always liked the name "Photobucket" - its got a ring to it.
