5 refrigerators?

The bodies of 5 neighbors who crossed you one too many times?

5 phone books from different companies and you never use any of them?

5 swimming pool cleaning poles?

5 cars that have high insurance premiums?

5 spider webs? We all know how you feel about spiders.

5 sets of cookware that were given to you as gifts?

It can't be boxes of paperwork from your job at school because you would have more than 5.

5 surfboards?

5 crates of Vienna sausage?

I like the idea of the 5 neighbor bodies, too. Let's see...Wavy can't stand them & hates looking at them. Muddy has great ideas...

Tires? But, who really can't stand tires?

I give up...I know it'll be something simple & we'll all groan. LOL Big Grin

Wow, what good guesses, pat yourselves on the back!!! Conrad guessed, but I don't think she was referring to the same type I was.
The answer was SNOW SHOVELS!!!!
still trying: you get an A+ for effort, very funny! Nettie gets an A++!!! That was the best answer yet.
Maybe I can shovel Dabney onto another planet, like Mars perhaps? (with my trusty snow shovels!)
ALAS, SPRING ARRIVES IN 20 days.
My condolences to those in the midwest getting more of that nasty white stuff. Hope it melts soon! (is 'condolences' a proper word to use in this sentence?) (I'm a grammar freak....)

Yes, I always keep an extra good snow shovel, in case one breaks (I have 3, rather than your 5). There are always areas that need it, regardless of the snow blower. Wink

We went into RMNP today and snow shoe-ed. Beautiful sunny weather and lots of white fluff that is so pretty and that I don't have to shovel!

Dabney Walker is the post name of a spammer on the boards. Lots of hype for sheds...with links to purchase. (I don't click on spammer links, so just a guess there)

I don't want any snow shovels...I've seen enough of them to last me the rest of my life.
But a gal on another board that is down fairly close to Orlando said their local radio guy said they might get some flurries tonight...WAY DOWN THERE!
Some of you will either know or remember her, Swampwander.
Wonder if zone9 is supposed to get any white stuff???
We aren't!

Jan, go ahead and send me one.........it's snowing now.....better hurry up! Wink

The snow is so fine that it's gonna take a whole lot of it for a very long time to even make a dusting.

Flurries in Orlando??? YIKES!

Oh how cute that sounds ~ a 'dusting' of snow! You better hurry up and grab your camera and take some pics before it sort of disappears.... I can't recall the weatherman ever predicting "a dusting of snow". I bet they close the schools! It's mighty dangerous to even chance DRIVING in dustings of snow.... You can never too safe me thinks. You're more than welcome to borrow one of the shovels if you do get snow that is predicted to stick around for at least 24 hrs. dearie!
Nettie ~ How did I get 5 shovels? Make that six! I found the 'baby' shovel still in the utility room. That is the shovel for the car trunk in case it starts snowing after you get to work, etc. and need to Dig yourself out of it. I just examined the other 5 in the garage. That is an excellent question Nettie! I haven't a clue where they all came from. There's this HUGE, very heavy navy blue shovel with a wood handle. Where did that come from? Then there's this pretty REDshovel. I don't remember seeing that one before! Then there's the 'state of the art' shovel that is supposed to "MAKE SNOW SHOVELING MUCH EASIER". It was bought a few yrs ago and it BROKE the very first year we got it (and of course Mr. Hubby didn't return it, he's a MAN!)
My guess is that DH bought a shovel when we first moved here. Then he started seeing newer, bigger, stronger, prettier shovels and just had to have them. So....he probably bought one, put it in the car and it ended up in the garage to await the next big snowfall. Most of them are soooo big and heavy I can't use them. I think they're better suited for a Sumo Wrestler than my DH! NOW, they have these NEW snow shovels with bent handles so you don't have to bend your body as much. It's a miracle, one of those didn't end up in the garage .............. YET!!!
I saw lots of spring buds poking up from the ground in people's yards - SPRING IS COMING, SPRING IS COMING!
(I loved this post, it was so funny, thanks for participating!!!) Aren't we a "hoot"?!?!?!

Me too. Our snow shovels seem to propogate and hang out with the garden shovels.

Side note: I used my garden shovel from the pile of snow shovels to chip away at the ice a few weeks back? Does that qualify for gardening?
