Up here in Staten Island I have to dig them up and winter them over in a mighty chilly basement. When I do plant them in late spring they take forever to poke thru, but then watch out. | ||||

Cute photo! Warm weather and lots of rain will keep them growing to an unbelievable size. Mine are blooming right now and are over 9 feet tall and the leaves are 3 feet across.
