oh how cute!! What an adorable little fellow hiding in the elephant ears.

Yes, they like heat, shade and water. They get enormous here if those 3 items are met. You must be supplying all 3.

Wow, is that all one plant? Looks like your little guy is having fun in the garden too.

He thought he was"hot stuff" because he was allowed near grandma's plants.. there are 3 bulbs there that I've been babying along for 3 years now.

OMG, that pic is absolutely precious!!!! I love Elephant Ears, but don't have room for them. Are they perennials? That is a great pic. Be sure to give your grandson an 8 X 10 of it, when he graduates from H.S.!! (you can never embarrass him 'enough'!!!) Wink Wink Cool

Up here in Staten Island I have to dig them up and winter them over in a mighty chilly basement. When I do plant them in late spring they take forever to poke thru, but then watch out.

Cute photo!
Warm weather and lots of rain will keep them growing to an unbelievable size. Mine are blooming right now and are over 9 feet tall and the leaves are 3 feet across. And they still have a few more months to grow. Eek
