Those day lilies you sent me...one is blooming. I saw it yesterday. It also had 6 more buds. It's the Early ? (something), I forgot and it was raining today so didn't go out to look again. I also just noticed this evening that I have an iris with a bud! Gonna get frozen. We are supposed to be down to 27º Sat. morning.

That's the one! I split all the ones you sent me & planted 2 of each...they are all in the beds on either side of our driveway by the road. So all the neighbors will get to enjoy them too as they perform!
Muddy, not good soil so much as better weather than a lot of you. But that is changing today!

Rice, we have/had been having upper 60s & 70s temps...that is why one of mine bloomed. We are supposed to hit around 27º again tonight! I haven't been down the drive to look at that one again...if I can remember I'll do that tomorrow! That iris bud got nipped the other night...don't know if it will open or not now.

leaves are good. of the 3 i kept, one has the long healthy leaves. can't see the other two buried in the sour grass.. if they are even putting up leaves. i'll have to look tomorrow. i'm glad to hear both of you are having good luck with your plants so far.
