Last one. SPV.
I didn't know if the Lantana would grow in the house. I hope I can keep it alive all winter!!

Mine did that but then died off over the winter months. Do not put the plant around any seedlings
as it can kill them. Also ~~very toxic to pets, kids. Didn't know if you knew?

Found this online>
Poisonous Plants and the danger to pets
Thought I would mention something that I had never thought of before. My little dog started getting sick and throwing up after being outside. I watched her and saw she was eating the leaves on a lantana plant. I looked it up on the computer and found out that it is very toxic to dogs and will make them sick and can sometimes kill them. I had never put any type of plant spray on them so it was just the leaves that was making her sick.
Since they die back in the winter here I went ahead and cut it back. Don't know what I will do with it next Spring.
She seems fine now so maybe I caught her grazing in time. Just keep isolated. I love em too! So you just repotted & put in sunny window? That's what I did one year.

It was in the pot all summer on my tippsy pots.
Thanks for the pet info. My girl doesn't usually get in the flower beds. Doesn't bother anything that drops on the floor either. Thank goodness.

wow, good for you.......figured the sp vine would live inside, but never thought about the lantana. I need to share this with my friend who lives in NY state. Here they are perennials unless we have a very severe winter, so I never worry about them. She loves lantana and I always send her pop up seedlings in the spring.

cool!

So pretty. I only post one pic at a time, too. Too lazy to do the photobucket thing. Big Grin
