ga.karenNaturalizing or large plantings
I don't know if any of you gals would be interested????
I've been getting a catalog that has Narcissus, Tulips, Alliums, Crocus, Hyacinth & a few specialty bulbs...but in BULK!
Like 75 narcissus bulbs for $33.75 or less depending on the variety, 50 tulips for $17.50 or more, etc. Some only come 100 at a time.
It's the Netherland Bulb Co.
www.netherlandbulb.comI'll bet you could get a catalog if you were interested!
But that is a LOT of holes to dig to plant that many at once!

vera ellenThanks Karen. I get some of those catalogs too. That's a lot of bulbs to plant. For the northern girls who get a long spring season, it would be beneficial. For me, spring turns into summer too quickly to justify.

ga.karenVE, I'm thinking in a year or two I might have to get one of those variety batches of the narcissus. They are sooo pretty. But is will depend on if I'm still able to get up/down or not.
But then as DH reminded me the other day...there are some kids in the family that might like to earn a bit of cash....Hhuuummm! I'll have to think about that!

Our pine trees are dropping their pine cones already and I was complaining about having to pick them up! I want ALL those pine cut out of the front yard! There are 30 some of them! If you don't pick them up, they will dull the blade on a mower in a heart beat...and can be as dangerous as a rock being thrown by a mower too!
