Your hibiscus bloom is gorgeous! I have a white one that is about 2' tall, but no blooms. Your pics of the hummers is fantastic. I wish I could get pics like that!

Beautiful. Mine is still blooming too. The bush got about 4' tall this summer! Pleanted 4 bushes and didn't think the 4 one was going to grow. I broke it. But it came back and has buds on it. Hope it is a different color. My other 2 are with pink.
I've never been able to get Joe to grow either.
We have 3 hummers here. They're 2 males and I think a little female. I've taken lots of pics of them too.
Great pics as always.

Great pictures as usual Muddy...good hummer shots! Love the deep red of the hibiscis. If your other hibiscis isn't up by now, I think you should count it as a loss. Sorry.

love the red hibiscus. had one years ago and it was such fun watching the flowers open.

how do you get such good bird shots? is that close up thru a window? if yes, you must keep your windows very clean. Big Grin

Such a pretty color.

I'm loving the hummers. We just have gray ones out here in west Texas.

Beautiful shots as usual! Beautiful flowers too!

I've never tried that Joe Pye Weed - I think it likes swampy areas, but I do have the chocolate version that blooms fairly late in the season
