These are my geraniums that I started from seed this year. They were planted in January. I transplanted 80 in to 4 inch pots yesterday.

80 pots??? Those are gorgeous little plants. Where are you gonna put them?

Mine just hang on year round in their pots, so I seldom have to replace one unless I just get tired and want another color. Except different colors can be hard to find down here.

Good Job - healthy looking seedlings. That's a lot of geraniums. I've never tried geranium seeds.....might be something to think about.

Enjoy!

How cute, I never saw Geranium seeds for sale before. Now I feel like planting them, where did you buy the seeds? Do most seed catalogs have them? 80 Individual pots, wow, that's a LOT of planting. Do you plan on selling them or are they just for yourself? That sure is a lot of plants, I'm tired just thinking about repotting them! Roll Eyes Good for you!!!

Hi Wavy,

You can buy geranium seeds from just about any major seed company. I get mine from New England Seed Co. I start them in flats, and then pot them when they have theri frist true leaves. I usally give my neighbor 24 each year for their yard. The rest I keep, and my wife and I plant them. Give it a try some day, they are not hard to grow from seed.

Hope you post a pic of those beauties when they are blooming.

Ironside - do you have a greenhouse to get them so purty??? What's your secret?

I've given up on planting seeds indoors. Trying the winter sowing thing this year to see if that makes a difference.
