I bought this thing about 5 yrs ago & it look bad.Don't know the name so i don't know how to take care of it or what it needs beside water.What is it?

It's hard to tell from the pictures. Can you get a little closer? Is that some sort of lavendar flower on it?

I agree with Jean......hard to tell....need a good close up. It looks more like some sort of shrub vs a plant though.

At first look I thought it might be a euyonomus, but now not so sure. Maybe you could cut off a sample and take to your local nursery. They might also be able to tell you what's the matter with the poor little thing. Looks like it could snap out of it and be a pretty little shrub.

I think it's some form of holly, maybe a Japanese holly...their leaves are smooth and don't have the spikey tips. It looks very thirsty...poor little thing.
