I don't have any current pictures to show you, but I can tell. The hummers are conducting battles outside my window today. Don't know how many of them there are, but at least 3 or 4. Heck, if they'd cooperate, they could all eat -- there's three feeders out there. But, no, they have to fight over the same one!!!!

Big Grin Yes, they do that, the silly little things. They're very territorial.

great picture FFG.

I think some of our hummers have already started their migration. We are down to just a few, like 4 or 5, whereas earlier we had at least 12 that we could count. They would zoom across the front porch from one feeder to the next, fighting and chattering the entire time. We love watching them. I was filling the feeders every other day......now it's about once a week.

VE's post reminded me I need to go fill the feeders AGAIN. I'm filling at least one every day...the hour glass feeders, and there are 6 of them out there...4 in front & 2 in back. I gave up on those tiny feeders...they would need filled several times in one day if I kept them going. I still haven't really seen an increase in bodies but the feeders are going down WAY faster.
