My Neon sedums are popping up with great raspberry flowers, mum plants are plump with buds, and my 3 Asters have grown together to become one with buds coming. I didn't know they were going to get soooo big or would have spaced them even farther apart. I even cut them back a coupla times til almost the end of July.
p.s. I keep trying to train Ms Mandevilla to hold on to the trellis, but it keeps trying to hold stems with Mr. Mum.This message has been edited. Last edited by: nance425,

Come to think of it, I wonder who told them it was time for a fall change here? It's been 90's all summer so we should be like you guys. I will miss these temps. I love it.

LOL, a little hanky panky in the garden.
Your sedums are great looking and contained. Do you cut them back also because they are not flopping like mine do.

Very pretty. My asters are blooming and I cut them back 2-3 times this summer. No mums. they are saying that the Aspen are going to turn early here bacause of the heat and dry weather.

Hope to have some mums and asters a little later, but with our terrible heat wave and drought this summer I think the blooms will be very sparse.
