Lovely color, I love hellebores.
Patty! No they do not die back and keep their foliage during winter.

Jan, that is beautiful. If mine were that color I'd love them......mine are that greenish white and I am definitely not a fan. I just sent Noonie a bunch of them that I was about to toss....love yours.

I just found hellbores for the first time at lowes yesterday. they were $18.00 a piece so, I haven't gotten any yet. they were either a white/green color or pink. very tempting, I may go back in a few days & get a couple. but, I did find some orange dianthus that were new this year, that I brought home. I ended up with 6 new plants from lowes to find room for. my first visit of the year to the garden center. it won't be my last. I love that place.
