I started a few "stems" about two or three years ago so they are finally filling out & anxious to see the blooms. They are so long lived so figure with some attention they may outlive me!

All beautiful, Muddy, including Rascal.

My peony is just starting to open today...just love 'em. I transplanted some dianthus I found in the yard last year from an old bed...wow, did they get tall. Blooming white with just a touch of pink. Got some funky allium last year from Bluestone, but I'm disappointed in the blooms...I thought they were a bright pink or purple & they're a faded yellow with purple in the throats...if I can, I'll try to post a pic later.

Love the peonies. Mine are still blooming too. I've got white and pink. I want the dark pink but don't have it yet.
I love your Sheltie. I've had 4 of them. They are great dogs. I have a Border Collie now.
What is your white flower you call a weed?

Wow, Muddy you must spend a lot of time in the garden! Everything is so perfect.
Let me guess, do you have one of those young muscular tanned "garden helpers" out there once a week with you spreading compost and pulling weeds? :-D

Oh I have those pretty "weed" flowers too. They pop up here and there.

Think its fleabane? Did get it at a nursery but see it in the parks too! DH took an early retirement so did help me a lot this past Fall & Spring...I used to try to do it all! I have failed to get after all the daff greens & even some browning tulips so not as nutty as you might think! :>) My little garden buddy needs a shampoo (shhh!) He won't be to happy about that! The humidity is making everything grow & soon I will lose control out there! When your garden beds are full there is less to worry about regarding weeds. Some grow happily for sometime until they tend to stick way out! Hahaa
