Your welcome. As for the other lilys, are they the bushy lilys like the stellas or are they the oriental lilys (bulbs). The answer would be yes to the bushy.

I've got lots of Stella D's and I get a huge flush in June, then not much of anything. I recently saw or read something...they said cut them down to the ground after the first flush and you'll get reblooming. I plan to try it on one. Couldn't hurt to try, right?

I only cut off day lily stems. My asian type lilies I leave the stems until they die then cut them which is usually in the fall. Those leaves are supplying the roots with nutrients so I don't cut any leaves during the growing/blooming season unless they get a disease.
Most of my day lilies have several buds per stem. I don't cut the stems until all the buds have bloomed. "If" they are rebloomers, then yes, they will bloom again but probably not as much as that first flush.

Certain lilies are rebloomers. I've never heard of cutting them back to rebloom. Landscapers use tens of thousands of them here and no one ever cuts them back, they just rebloom. Maybe cutting them back causes more blooms, I don't know. As far as daylilies go there is a classification known as "rebloomer". This is genetic--you can't trim a daylily and force it to rebloom. Certain weather conditions encourage reblooms--last year in my area we had some daylilies which had more blooms than in other years over an extended period.
