I picked up a packet of seeds called Bee's Friend. They come from a place called Seed Savers Exchange. It appears to be more common in California but grown here (Ohio) as an annual?Sometimes used as a cover crop but lovely lavender flowers. From what I've read I think I should winter sow early Spring? Anyone know more...?
Yep, just google it. Good luck and let us know what you do and how it turns out. I use to sew a green cover of some type of wheat. It worked beautifully.

Just call it Bee's Friend LOL as that's what the seed packet says! Hope I can get a few out of the packet?! The summers seem hot & desert like here sometimes for sure! UGH It might like it in Ohio! I found out it does like sandy soil but likes cool soil & to stay moist. These new things that are out of zone are always a fun challenge to me! Well, its new to me!
When I saw the title I thought you were using Latin cusswords
I think Bees Friend works just fine. It's a new one for me too, never heard of it......I find the directions confusing.......desert like, yet cool soil and moist! Sounds like a great challenge. The flowers look very pretty.
You will have to take a series of pictures for us so we can keep up with this experiment.
