These spots are showing up on my 'Ville de Lyon' clematis. It looks like a disease to me but I'm not sure what disease.

Also, this is my beautiful 'Henryi' clematis that is on the other side of the trellis. I've also noticed these psots on the fading flowers. Is this a disease too?

Aw, bummer. Could it be the black spot fungus? That doesn't only affect roses...I'd trim off anything with the spots & destroy them, then go ahead & treat for black spot. Good luck. Hate to see those beautiful flowers in trouble.
