Okay, it's rained enough over the last 12 hrs. and more to come. It will be good for all the plants that were planted this week, but wished it would stop this morning, so we can get the rest planted. I know come July and August, we'll be wishing for some of this rainfall.

I'm getting scared and desperate ... I have a huge box of Oriental bulbs starting to sprout that need to be planted NOW and my ground is just mud.
It's starting to rain again right now. Frown

Stupid question but I'll ask anyway..How does the rain affect your alfalfa tea? Does it have to sit out in the sunshine?

Pippi, yes it's supposed to be in the sun. Makes it ferment faster.

Wasn't April supposed to be the rainy month?
It wasn't here...seems like May is!
Well, last week we definitely needed it but it better stop so I can plant flowers for my mom as a birthday/Mother's day gift!
She always likes to plant several flats of impatiens and begonias and it's the only day we can make the drive to do it.

I'm right there with you on the rain. As much as I want to garden, I have tickets to the Kenny Chesney concert today (2nd row) and I don't want to sit in the rain all day. Frown

I feel you pain in WV. We need to mow and do some plant maintenance. Our yard is turning into a swap.

On the plus side - everything sure is green and it is great for the lawn seed and wildflower mix. Big Grin
