Thought that was what it was. You have to find both holes in the ground..Watch the wasp go in one, plug it with something and then spray the other hole and plug it too.. They will colonize if left alone. Its some sight to see on carrying a cicada back to its nest.

Since Cicada Killer Wasps are mostly beneficial, unless you are a Cicada, why wou7ld anyone want to kill them?

I kill them when they chase me out of my own garden. If they leave me alone, I do likewise.

This must be the year for them. I saw one in my front garden and my Daughter in Law can't use her courtyard because it is infested with them. I haven't had them here in years
