Was wondering if either or both of you got any rain out of TS Beryl. Not sure which side of the map either of you are on...just hoping maybe y'all got some much needed rainfall.

VE, yes we are getting some. I don't think FFG got any out of it, I don't think it went that far west...I'm just about 35mi. west of I-75 down here. FFG is in the far western reaches of the panhandle, I think!
We were forecast for 1/2" but are headed towards the 2" mark & most of ours has been in very slow steady rain, some light, some really light and a bit of heavier. Just no gully washers for us!

Edit to add....
But it has played heck with me hanging out my laundry for 2 days now! Big Grin

Well dear, that's why G*D made electric dryers!! Wink

Glad that you are getting some relief. Last nights local weather guy said that parts of Florida and Georgia were getting some much needed relief from the drought. Maybe we need something to come up the Gulf Coast for FFG (and us too).

Nope, not a drop here at our house. Thunder is rumbling outside now, but don't know if we'll get anything or not.

Were in Pensacola for a movie earlier and it rained while we were in there.

zone9, I forgot about you being in the way too! I'm sorry!
The is another gal on the east coast close to NASA that posts on the Natural Yard board...she got a couple of inches & they weren't supposed to get anything!
Did any of you see how much Jacksonville ended up with?

VE, yes, we need something to come up thru the gulf to get us all GOOD! I haven't looked at all the currants lately but early in May it didn't look like anything would head into the gulf...and I think I guessed right!...Hey, I'm as good as TWC! Big Grin I just don't want anything stalling like Faye did a few years ago! That was a mess!

Oh, I feel SO left out Frown Here on the east coast (near Savannah) we received 3". Our crops are looking good. Mary Ruth is a regular poster on the General Decorating Board and lives near the Cape Canaveral Area. Not sure if she visits this board. Happy for anyone who received some much needed rain.

I'm sorry for leaving you girls out! I had no real clue where any of you lived except for FFG and GaKaren. Happy for those of you who got rain, and sad for those of you who didn't!

Maybe we should all get together and do a rain dance or something! I'm game if y'all are, but I ain't doing it by myself!

(and I still can't get the emicons to work).

OMGosh - that is hilarious. I cannot find my old lady dancing but here's an old lady anyway. She appears to have on a swimsuit and with my age, that's probably better anyway.

Vera, you probably got more than me. Those red lines were all around us but they seemed to fall apart near my house.
