banaWhat is this?
it is growing in granddaughter's vegetable garden. she is new to gardening and left this in to see what it grew into. she's been advised to not eat it.. but does anyone know what it is? thanks.

ga.karenI agree that it looks like some kind of greens that have gone to seed. Let the seeds dry on the plant as much as possible and then save them to plant this fall. She might get a great crop of greens then!

vera ellenI agree with the mustard plants gone to seed, the wild kind, not necessarily the kind you buy to plant in the veggie garden. You can still eat the greens. We used to pick them and eat them, very tasty.
