Thumbie~~OMG! The deer population must be growing over there? I think its very hard to garden when you have to deal with deer! Infact unless you can afford an electric fence it can be pointless to garden. Is it really that bad?! Gosh~ Things were so beautiful there last year! Some areas with deer traffic just cage everything including bark around trees. You may be meant to be a seamstress! Houseplants might be a better thing for you!!! Love the oriental poppy! That is the flower that my mom grew when I was small & made me appreciate the extreme beauty in a bloom! Have you tried all the plants deer seem to ignore? Foxglove? Love them!!!

Thumbie, I don't know where you live, but obviously it must be against the law to shoot deer. That is a crying shame....I'm so sorry.

The little poppy is pretty.
