My rose bush heard I was thinking about moving it and got busy and started really producing. Big Grin This is the one that is about 18 years old. No kidding. Jeanne it needs some clematis growing with it don't you think? I re-painted the frame Sat. so it really shows up.

oh, that's a purdy one!... seems like they DO respond to threats!... I had an amaryllis that I swore at and threatened to send to the compost pile if it didn't bloom... it did!.... are the blooms scented?... it looks like one that I had at the old house... lovely to look at but no scent at all....???.....

don't you hate to paint that stuff?.... I traded all mine in for vinyl!... LOL!!

Yep, this is my second lattice and it's vinyl. Wore out my arms painting the old one. Yes, it is scented; smells so sweet. And beside it, you can't see, but I had an adjoining section that honeysuckle on it. You talk about take your breath away! You could walk out on the patio at night and just breathe... but - it got so big and heavy it was like a tree and the wasps built nests inside it and then a little mean vine called poison ivy crept in so I had to take it down. The lattice had rotted out so I took it all out. I'm replacing it with new vinyl and I'm think about another climber with some clemmies. What do you think?

No, I have yet to make alfafa tea. I know I have the recipe somewhere. I will, I promise. This time of year I'm overwhelmed with all I need to do to get my beds in shape. I'm a sorry gardener. I don't put them to bed in the fall so I pay double in the spring. I have too much yard for this old lady to keep up. I'm looking forward to retirement so I can piddle all day. (Oh, I do that now except it's called work. Big Grin)
