Here are a few things going on in my yard. First of all, my butterfly bush and lavender have been in full bloom and have really attracted the buttrflys.

don't know why my pictures are appearing sideways on here. They are not sideways on the computer. I will post more when I figure this out.

Think I will just give up for the night. The site is not letting me edit these posts either. Sorry this post isn't making much sense, I am sure.

Thanks for sharing, Bet! I'm sure you are enjoying those beautiful butterflies--I just planted my first butterfly bush a couple of weeks ago, so am anxious to have some too!!

And don't even get me started on this site....Mad "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is not a motto HGTV board technicians are familiar with!!

Bet, don't sweat the small stuff. We could see the pictures just fine. Love that hollyhock picture!! Your tiger swallowtail on the butterfly bush is pretty too.

Real pretty. My dad's favorite flower was hollyhocks. He had my mom grow them all the time. My butterfly bushes show no signs of blooms yet. But then there are no caterpillers eating my parsley yet, either. The caterpillers usually appear before the butterflies.

I love hollyhocks...they bring back memories of my childhood and those red ones are spectacular (sp?)! Good shot of the butterflies. They always move when I get close enough for a pic!
