It' very tall with angular stems, pointy leaves in triples and flower heads that look a lot like Queen Anne's Lace...smells sweet, too. Dies back in the fall. Help! Need to know if it's worth keeping some of it...right now there's probably 20 feet by 6 feet of it in the shadiest corner of my yard. I googled white, flat top flowers, but mostly got QAL...nothing that looks like what I have. I googled Meadow Rue...not it. Thanks **Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain**

Is it aegopodium podagraria, Bishop's weed? The plant grows to 3 feet in height. ![]()

BINGO! I believe that's it! I will look up Bishop's Weed/aegopodium podagraria right now. Thank you! **Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain**

I'm back...it's a baaad weed! Very invasive, a similar species to snow on the mountain, but in the all green form (mine), even worse! Yikes! It'll be going bye bye... **Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain**

wow, congrats to stilltrying for a positive ID. If it's similar to snow on the mountain you'd better dry, then burn the stalks!!! ve

Congrats ST on getting it! I've never heard of that one but I know about snow on the mountain...so I don't want any either! "The soil is the source of life, creativity, culture and real independence." David Ben-Gurion

I've got this one.... http://www.sustainable-gardeni...ntent/uploads/bishop's%20weed.jpg I don't understand why everyone hates it... mine has been here for several years and sure, it's spread, but only a little... same with the Archangel.... no biggie there, either... must be my acidic clay, huh?.... I have that too & love my variegated one?? It has stayed in the same place for years & always filling a corner for me...Just goes to show ya ~ plants grow differently in different places. I gave it away to two people locally that love it also. "Those that throw mud, lose ground!" :>)
