Neat. Lucky you to have 2 totally different places to relax. What part of Ks. do you go to? My Aunt lives in SW Ks. Ulysses.

We live in southeast corner of Kansas Silly Bird. yep, we have 2 different worlds to enjoy. BTW, I see you're in Colorado - hope you aren't in any of the fire danger!

Thanks for the tour! What a difference! Love the fields of Kansas although I LOVE Texas too. ~Jean~ in garden zone 6b

SSTR - thanks for the tour.......loved seeing the change in scenery. Kansas fields look beautful. I know that you are always happy to see all that green and the rolling hills. So where's part 2? ve

Oops, my subject line was misleading, wasn't it? I forgot that I could continue to post pictures on the same thread by hitting "reply", rather than post separate pictures and calling each thread "pix 1", "pix 2", etc.

Great tour! Glad I don't live in or near a big city....noticed how "foggy" the pics looked there. Looks like the wheat is ready to combine! But what about those temps for the last few days???? 118º some place in Kansas yesterday! "The soil is the source of life, creativity, culture and real independence." David Ben-Gurion

What part of SE KS? That is where I live also.

BET and SSTR -- I live in SE Kansas as well -- are we all neighbors? I'm in Fort Scott -- an hour south of Kansas City and 30 miles north of Pittsburg. Martha
