Took these photos on last trip to Kansas.
Houston Skyline as we leave early in the morning.

Pix 2: Sam Houston gives us a nod as we whiz by.

A few hours later we're cruising through Dallas.

Awwww, destination arrived: The Land of OZ!

We live in southeast corner of Kansas Silly Bird. yep, we have 2 different worlds to enjoy. BTW, I see you're in Colorado - hope you aren't in any of the fire danger!

Thanks for the tour! What a difference! Love the fields of Kansas although I LOVE Texas too.

SSTR - thanks for the tour.......loved seeing the change in scenery. Kansas fields look beautful. I know that you are always happy to see all that green and the rolling hills.

Oops, my subject line was misleading, wasn't it? I forgot that I could continue to post pictures on the same thread by hitting "reply", rather than post separate pictures and calling each thread "pix 1", "pix 2", etc.

Great tour! Glad I don't live in or near a big city....noticed how "foggy" the pics looked there.
Looks like the wheat is ready to combine!
But what about those temps for the last few days???? 118º some place in Kansas yesterday!

What part of SE KS? That is where I live also.

BET and SSTR -- I live in SE Kansas as well -- are we all neighbors? I'm in Fort Scott -- an hour south of Kansas City and 30 miles north of Pittsburg.
