The outside of my house is boring. I would like to add color with plants but when I put some planters on the sides of the front doors we ended up getting bugs in the house! I love flower pots on windows, but I'm afraid we'll get bugs again. Any ides on how to add color to the outside of the house itelf? We have a front garden with flowers and plants but the house is *****. Thank you!
Sunny, are you talking about your house itself? If so, I watch HGTV Curb Appeal and they seem to like to paint a contrasting color on the trim of the house. Also they're always painting the front door a "popping" color and painting the window shutters, etc. Does that help?

Yes, I do mean the house itself. We don't want to paint the door because it is a beautiful door with lovely glass design. (No color though). Have you ever heaerd of plastic plants/flowers instead of real ones? If so, where can I get this?
