Cool pics Vera. Have the turkeys departed? Think I thought I'd see "real" wildlife...deer, possums, skunks, coons, etc. LOL.

LOL Thumbie, sorry, no pigs here except me with my camera Wink

Thanks girls. I'm glad you enjoyed some of the critters around here.

Muddy, I do love nature, everything about it. We're blessed to live in the woods in a very rural area...so yes, there's lots of wildlife.

Jan, I'm sorry there were no critters while you were here. Maybe we scared them off with the laughing.

Your so funny Thumbie! Demanding pigs now? LOL
what about bats? I loved that topic here! Big Grin
How many years ago was that? Hahaa Thumbie was home alone with a bat flying around & was coming on the Board every ten minutes giving us reports & asking for advice! By far the most hysterical thread in Garden Board history! Wonder if anyone can dig that out of the history files?! I didn't want to go to sleep that night! I was just laughing like crazy at the computer but trying to brain storm to help her! DH was like ~~What's happening there?! That must be years~~~ ago now?

Muddy, that is hysterical...and I have been racking my brain trying to figure out where I can find some pigs so I can take a picture for her.

I do have a pink pig ornament, and a sun catcher pig...think those would work for her in the meanwhile?

I will find her some pigs - you can count on it! Big Grin

O-M-Gosh - you gals are so funny. We will have to take a little country road trip and find a pig farm.....there aren't too many of those around here, but by gosh, we will have real Oinkers if I can find any. Big Grin

Love the flying pig! That may be the only way I find pictures......when a pig flies over the rooftop! Wink

still smiling here.

edited to add: guess I was thinking about the old Garden Talk board......when one of us posted a bunch of pictures in one post....or several posts with lots of pictures, we'd preface it with Oink Oink, picture piggy here, etc. Sorry you girls thought it was real pigs, and yes, it certainly got your attention.

OK, if no one has a real pig to show I have this one from a few years ago...he just walked right in the addition when we were putting up drywall.
He didn't really oink..just squealed a few times when DH tried to hold him still for the photo..Big Grin

We've had two Carolina Wren nests so far. One in a flower pot under the pergola and one in a hanging basket. They sure are noisey when you get near their babies.

Those are some great photos of the babies and I love the yellow finches. We have lots of those agriopes too.

I remember the Bat thread...it was hysterical and so was Thumbie!

Ouch is right! That pig has some sunburn!
Doesn't even look real but some shiny plasticy creature!

Actually, like Thumbie, I was also expecting a pig somewhere in the pictures.

We had one like # 2 on Saturday night here at the campground. Was late getting pictures and was already in the dismantling stage when I got over there!

Nothing cuter than a little pig, but lordy help you if he squeals and his mama is around!!!!

Ya'll are too funny! Nope the little piggy was the neighbor's pet that got loose and came to visit with us about 4 years ago, I'd imagine he is pretty huge by now.

The second is DH's first try on his new rotisserie. Trying to get a 70lb slippery raw pig on a rotisserie rod is not a pretty sight, but it sure did taste good. He usually digs a pit and cooks it in ground like they do in Hawaii with Banana leaves.

Here he is fully cooked..a little crispier
