thanks, rice... you caught me calling it 'Enterprise' sooner than i did. mouth (aka typing fingers) engaged before brain in gear. a typical senior moment.)

and glad you got to see it.

Ha - When I read Enterprise - I first thougt of the carrier Enterprise. Then, duh, I realized it had to be the Endeavour.

Lucky for me, I was scheduled to be in the museum this am, so getting to the tower was a no brainer. I was among a group of vols, staff and visitors. We were all very impressed.

Bana great photo, love the flag in the corner. Makes it picture perfect.

Isn't it awesome to see such a piece of history!!! I'm so glad that you got to see in person vs. watching on tv. There is no comparison.

yes i was lucky to see it.. and am glad i went over to see it in person vs watching it on tv.

i met a man with two of the cutest little dogs.. 6 mos old terriers. i was so busy taking pictures of them that i laughed about having a dead battery by the time the shuttle flew by. they were so lively that it was almost impossible to get a picture that wasn't blurry.

the best shot i got was in my own shadow. call me the 'oops' photographer for the things i don't notice till i see the picture. and for some shots, there are no do-overs.
