Put my hummer feeders up yesterday afternoon and have my first hummers this morning!! A female ruby throat. Glad they're here.

I had feeders up all summer in Vermont and they visited regularly.

My obediant plant is just blooming and they love that. But about all that is left in the wild is the asters, not something they go to. They usually leave here the first or second week in Sept. depending upon the temperatures.

I'll have to start watching if only the females are still here. The males leave a few days/week before them.

Not too sure when she'll leave this year. She was here yesterday. Usually they go by the end of the month. Will miss them.

Yes, ya'al send them down here & I nearly break my neck keeping the feeders full.
I've noticed increased feeding the last couple of days...gotta fill those feeders sooner than normal!
Last time I counted, we had 8 flying around in the evening...hummer wars! Roll Eyes DUCK!!!
