I have the blue & pink Centaurea

Montana Blue & Dealbata Persian~~ think they are same family. Look the same. The pinks got so tall that they fell over & had to cut back. I had the blue ones for many years & some still come up in my ivy sometimes.

Appears to be a giant in the knapweed family. I once had some red but it died out.

Well, used to have tons of the blue variety but most has died out now...nothing seems to last for me even after all that composting over the years.

It certainly is an interesting plant & flower! I like it! Wonder if it would grow this far south???
