I saw this plant on "Gardening by the Yard" this morning and I really like it.
Can anyone tell me anything about it, like what zone it will grow in and where can I get some seeds?!

This was my second attempt. The previous Spring I had tried & then when transferred outside I put them in a partly shaded location & they died. Then last year I had to start early under my lights & planted in a pot with a trellis. I am still looking for the other picture to show you but I have TONS of pics! LOL It bloomed late in the season but that is here in Ohio. It was worth the effort & really enjoyed it but didn't save even one seed when not feeling well last Fall. If I see the seeds available I will get you a packet!

This plant is soooo pretty that I want to try growing it.
Thanks, muddy!
Paul James did say that it was an annual, but I don't remember hearing him say what zone it was and after I googled it, I still didn't find out what zone. Usually, the annuals I grow will reseed themselves the next year.
jvelo, how did you find the zone? Not that it matters, I just want to find some seeds so that I can try growing them.
Thanks everyone!

Here is a site that sells it Barb...

http://summerhillseeds.com/tro...y-creeper-p-171.html

There are some other sites but check out how many seeds & shipping prices...one place was HIGH shipping & another smallest quantity was 100 seeds.

$2.45 for 15 seeds?! That's a little too rich for my pocket book. There's another website that charges $5 shipping and handling and there are 25 seeds. The packet is $1.99. I didn't need any other seeds or I would have ordered some.
Thanks, Karen!

You don't need many seeds...I think mine bloomed so late that I never did get seeds. Last Fall was a bad time for me.

The zone was in the link:
USDA Hardiness Zones 9 and higher. Canary Creeper is usually grown as an annual and is frost tender.
