I like it when it first comes in & nothing ruins it or nothing is falling over or going to seed!

Saw these outside the ice cream shop we stopped at today...? Are they peonies?

Oh pretty! What's that darker pink thing on the right? One is in front of the post & the other is on the right edge of the picture...you can save me some of those seeds! Big Grin

Oh WOW! I don't know what they are but they sure are pretty! The bloom looks like a single peony but the leaves don't look right.

Could they be some kind of poppy?

Have some seeds in mind for you Karen!

Maybe someone will know if they are peonies? Sure are striking!

I'm with Karen. I thought about the single form peony, but the foliage isn't right. Same for some kind of cosmos. Just not quite right. Sure hope somebody comes along soon who can identify it, cause its gorgeous.

Those pics just made my heart smile this morning! Never seen a fernleaf peony before, but it sure is purty!!

Cheryl, I agree with Muddy--it's easy to post a pic once you learn how. The key is to edit your photo to be no more than 150 KB in size (or is is MB???). Whatever the terminology, you can use your computer's paint program to shrink them enough to fit. Give it a try!

Your garden is gorgeous Muddy. I've never seen a fern leaf peony before. The flowers are lovely. I had to look them up online. Guess they are shorter but they sure look pretty!

Muddy, I have the same columbine colors. Did you plant the pink ones, because some of my blue ones morphed into pink ones this year.

Hope to show pictures soon, but clumsy me spilled hot tea over my keyboard and excactly the keys that I need for log-on don't work.
(Using my work pc now).

Love the pics...love the peony.
I would have said it was a tree peony since I've heard that the leaves are different.
Did it smell as good as the ones with more petals?
