Nope, haven't heard from her since last June. She did mention that she was super busy and didn't have much time to get on the boards these days.

Maybe she's just taking a break.

Hello Friends,

M.I.A is the performing name of Maya Arulpragasam, an artist and singer known for the dancehall hits "Galang" and "Sunshowers." Maya Arulpragasam grew up in Sri Lanka in a family that was among the Tamil minority. Political upheaval spurred her mother to apply for refugee status in Britain, and in 1986 the family moved to London. Arulpragasam studied film at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and began her career as a documentary maker. After discovering the joys of a drum machine, she began writing her own songs and distributing mix-tapes and singles on her own under the name M.I.A. Blending hip-hop and reggae rhythms with politicized lyrics, her singles "Galang" and "Sunshowers" became dancehall and DJ favorites in 2003 and 2004. Music videos and word of mouth helped boost the anticipation of her first album, Arular, released internationally in 2005. She also made news at the 2009 Grammy Awards, when she performed onstage while nine months pregnant with her first child.

Thanks and Regards,
William Hayden

What fricken country are you living in? You seriously think the acronym MIA stood for a singer? Get a clue, it's an acronym for missing in action. How could you not understand the most common usage of MIA? Did you even bother to read the OP's post?

I had been wondering about her too. I thought she may have joined a different gardening board. If she isn't even posting on FB I sure hope she is okay. It would be nice if she is involved in something wonderful that has her too busy to post on either site and that is the reason she hasn't posted recently.

we miss you, CARose. hope you see this thread and let us know you are OK.

as for the unwelcome posters, don't forget, garden friends, there is that HIDE POST button. Smile i use that for posts by the he-who-must-not-be-named posters because i do not want to acknowledge their existence. just sayin'.

unfortunately, you can't hide threads. Frown

Thanks y'all.......I have been wondering about her for awhile. She seems like such a gracious person. When everyone got concerned about Hazel, I thought perhaps some of you knew where CA Rose was.

Yes, I hope she is doing something that makes her extremely happy and is enjoying herself.

As for that "other" post....well, I thought y'all said it well enough, so I'll leave it be!
