Leafy Spurge!
Anyone have experience with dealing with Leafy Spurge?

We are under contract with a house that we just found out has Leafy Spurge on the property (36 acres), but has been maintained by using the flea beetles, so I don't think it's all over, just in certain places. We have horses and are concerned about it being toxic, however, we have found out that it is pretty common in the area anyway.

Any thoughts, suggestions, wisdom?

Leafy Spurge is considered a noxious weed everywhere it can grow. Cattle will not graze where it grows, although I have not seen anything about horses. All of what I have seen about controls is extremely toxic to the environment.

Talk to the local county extension office where the property is located. They will be the most likely to help you in your particular area.
